Hi Guys,
I'm doing some electronics right now and I'm kinda frustrated with this task. I'm searching the mean value and the RMS value. It would be very nice if someone could help me with that!
T1 = 144,5ms
T2 = 289ms
T = 578ms
S1 = 578V

The mean value is just the integral of the signal averaged over the period, as in:
$\int_0^T x(t)dt$
So in this case, given the easy geometry of the problem:
$\int_0^T x(t)dt = \frac{1}{T} \left( S_1T_1 + \frac{1}{2}(T_2 - T_1)S_1\right)$
Now, the RMS is just the L2 norm of the signal over its region of definition, that is:
$RMS(x) = \sqrt{||x||_{L^2}} = \left( \int_0^T |x(t)|^2 dt \right)^2$
Now compute this integral using the same "geometrical lógic" i used to compute the first integral
