Question for any serious vax connoisseurs (antivax shills can sit this one out, please). Why is it not possible to simply take the current vintage of a booster when you have a risky period of travel or other spreading activities, then skip the next few when you don't, and so on. As one might do with the common flu shot. For example, say it's autumn 2023 and I know I'll be flying all around Asia on business and exposing myself to a lot of social networking. If I boost with that specific fiscal quarter's booster (call it B23Q3) which should be perfectly effective against whatever variants are circulating then why should it matter whether or not I've been previously boosted with B22Q1 or whatever that is more effective against some other variants which are no longer circulating?
