So from what I understand there is verbal and non-verbal intelligence. Women IN GENERAL possess mainly verbal intelligence, whereas men usually possess one or the other. This makes sense from an evolutionary point of view. The men who went out hunting had to have a pretty good idea of their enviorment, high amounts of visual processing and mapping a 3D environment in their head, tracking skills, etc, the numerates today are primarily the descendants of these men, the ones that have high non-verbal intelligence, these are the mathematicians, the physicists, the computer scientists, the engineers, the inventors, the mechanics, the chemists etc. The men who stayed back to protect the tribe, to keep things in order, to plan for the future, to make sure there was enough food, etc. today these are the doctors, lawyers, politicians, philosophers, logicians, biologists, psychologists, legal theorists, etc. Now, these latter men who have the same kind of intelligence that most women have generally still find themselves in more "analytical" professions because all men, regardless of intelligence, are still more naturally analytical than women for the reason that they were either the hunters or protectors. The females were mainly the gatherers. So the female descendents today that all descend from those first females are today's nurses, hair dressers, lovers of fashion, biologists, lawyers, social workers, teachers, nutritionists, etc. With female verbal intelligence comes more emotion since women are naturally more emotional than men and so pick professions more related to relationships and etc. There is some overlap in profession with the male verbal intellects and females, but again the men still tend towards the more analytical professions.

So, is this accurate?
