You can explain fundamental concepts in quantum mechanics without going too deep into the weeds of the mathematics... the problem is too many pop-sci faggots trying to come up with misleading or straight up wrong analogies to try and make their explanations witty and whimsical and leads to even more misunderstandings and misinterpretations. Just say what you fucking mean instead of dressing it up with a long-winded and completely inaccurate analogy about baseball or fruit or whatever. Shit like this is how you end up with faggots 85 years later unironically using the Schrodinger's Cat as an explanation of how quantum mechanics works instead of understanding that it was meant to be a criticism of the Copenhagen interpretation.
