Do I have to do a fucking gay internship? Not willing to do slave labor for fucking peanuts. Just received my BSc in Engineering (not mechanical something niche) here in Europe. Already had work experience prior to studying and was making 80'000 a year as a mechanic directly after my apprenticeship. After graduating I would think that I could just hop on aboard and enter a company with full pay exceeding the 100'000 threshold. Is this internship thing mandatory and more for younger people who directly graduated after school and are lacking real life work experience or is this a typical thing for every graduate even if the graduate is at the end of his 20's starting 30's and has his own apartment and family?
It seems that here these internships last from 6-12 months with no promise of hiring afterwards as if they are using specially trained individuals as cheap labor.

Any suggestions?
Or should I still apply to them stating my situation in hopes theyd give me a better pay then just 1000 per month. Any immigrant who crossed the Mediterranean in a rubber boat and cant even speak the language gets 1500-2000 a month for nothing.
