I imagine he thought he would then be hired by some thinktanks, be credited for his intelligence, do something he enjoyed at one of the elite expensive nepotism universities... but nobody cared. And that's what I loved about him.
Eventually he figured out how to scrape by and capitalize on his 'brand'. His IQ prime is well past, but he's figured out the game a lot more. His opposition talking points have gained a lot of traction. I think there is a thread on both /sci and /pol and his recent quotes that tease at the jq have been popular here.
Very cool that he demonstrated publicly that IQ is by itself not valued in our society. His current hot takes have yet to excite me, but he is worth a read once in a while.
