Is there a proven, scientific connection between Japanese child porn comics and actual crimes committed against real children?

I would argue that pedos with access to cartoon child porn are less likely to act out because they have an alternative outlet. At least it will alleviate some of their sexual frustration; perhaps enough to deprive them of the lust fuelled bravery needed to commit a crime.

unfortunately nobody has been able to link an indulgence in fantasy with acts in physical reality, probably because most of the population is capable of separating their imagination from the real world. You might be able to argue something along the lines that the mentally ill might be adversely affected by fictional depictions of sexual acts but the mentally ill can be adversely affected by fucking everything. Child porn is part of Japanese culture just as much as guns and violence are part of American culture. It would be very difficult to get rid of it, whether or not it is true that there is any relation between fiction and real-life crime.

Pretty sure there has been studies on this and most people convicted of raping kids or other shit arent pedophiles. Mostly down to the fact you don't have to be attracted to someone to actually rape them and for most rapes this is a fact (see prisons). The rapist is a sadist and or other reasons like controlling the person and this is what they are getting off on. So you both have to be a pedophile and willing to do such a crime which is a far smaller part of the population then just people willing to do it. Way to think about this is you may be attracted to females but you dont go out and rape someone even if you are an incel and can't get a women. Now to compare this to other medians like violent videos, violent videos do boost violent tendencies you can google this for yourself, so probably these cartoons will boost their attraction to children to some degree. Is it to a degree will they do something know is wrong and hurt someone? Maybe the increase in attraction will make it easier for them to easily find ways in their mind for it to be okay. Or maybe it boosts attraction but since they have an outlet they are less likely to commit the crime. Who knows. Maybe OP you can do a study on this.
