>>14165975Lang's Basic Mathematics will work if you're smart and somewhat experienced. It has plenty of incorrect solutions and his explanations can be demanding on the reader, to use a euphemism. You need to be able to reason yourself out of the book's flaws, which can be a good exercise by itself. But if you don't already know how to study math, it may be a wrong choice.
If you want more handholding, thorough instruction and enough exercises to not only learn but gain confidence that you've mastered everything, check out Stitz and Zeager. You're not really in a hurry and it's already a college-level precalculus course, so it's a thorough review and a solid foundation for later.
Have you already gone through the material at some point and are just refreshing? Points for Lang, he's different, shorter and has some new challenges. Is your knowledge shaky and full of gaps to begin with? An argument for S-Z.
Attached file has solutions for Lang, I didn't make this, I got it from here.
