i thought about if we reduce the human body, or almost any other animals body down to its cns and reproductive organ you'd get something eerie similar to a mycelum(cns) and a mushroom(dick)

considering how certain fungi are actually pretty intelligent, like the yellow slime fungus thats been used for cityplanning etc .. would it make sense from an evolutionary perspective that most liveforms are derived from fungii that learned how to walk and seek food sources?
