Take Japan for instance, they are very creative and philosophical. Koreans to an extent as well. Chinese much less so but that is because their society does not reward creativity or being philosophical. Their society does not reward it due to how ideological and party run everything is. While every society has nepotism, in China it's practically the only way to get ahead. If you want to see what Chinese society would look like with an alternate societal structure just look at Taiwan, those people are also creative and philosophical.
