Just turned 30. Am a dropout with very little work experience. Aside from pic related, what are my options if I still dream of doing something science-related?

easiest way is to get into software development/IT. which isn't really science. but it's something potentially productive and useful

for hard science, you can still self-teach, but it's much harder to get employed without a bachelor's and then also higher degrees. with software/IT, you can be 100% self-taught and easily get hired and paid 6 figures working from home without any job or college experience. you just have to pass tough technical interviews. it's pretty merit-based

Ok OP i went to a commuter college so anecdotally I knew a lot of older students. The route they took was Associate's Degree at community college -> Bachelor's at community college/larger college -> master's at larger college

I'm 26, about to graduate with an MSc and even I'm too old to do anything science related (never dropped out or missed years, but made the mistake of getting an engineering degree in a country where you start university at 18/19). It's unironically over for you bro.
