This might help:
LSH will always be 1 more than a multiple of x. RHS will always be a multiply of y. If there is a multiple of y that is 1 mod x, then x and y must be coprime.

The answer is that it doesn't exist. For every integer x>1 there exists a y such that the given relation is satisfied. therefore, the question reduces to finding the smallest x such that x>1. This doesn't exist.
