If the Theory of Relativity is correct and the Earth is round then why don't people near the North Pole have shorter lives due to moving much more slowly than someone at the equator?

They would only appear to from another observer. their own life would last the same length of time no matter where they are or how fast they are moving. Only from a different point of view, from a relative position do things appear to be different.

They might technically do, but the difference is absolutely miniscule.
Also, The poles are slightly deeper in earths gravitational field, so it might actually be at the equator that time goes by fastest. Not that it matters anyway. Even at orbital velocities the effect of time dilatation is tiny.
