you can test lots of things with simulations and at-home experiments. you would need proper education in empirical reasoning as well as some level of numeracy to understand how to do this. you could also apply logic to your beliefs about scientific journal articles and try rationalize for and against believing their claims. you can't do any of this because you are irrational
