Aside from the average, men have a pronounced advantage in quantitative and visuospatial IQ. This is all in the context where IQ test developers tried to minimize the differences between male and female test results, so we don’t really know how big the real difference is.
On top of that you have greater male variability in IQ. Men have larger brains on average than women and some connectivity differences. There are also small but highly significant differences in personality that pertain to realized intelligence. Those are basically the relevant differences.
