Public school (K-12) was absolute garbage, had maybe 2-3 decent teachers along the way out of literally dozens, but there’s only so much they can do when they’re forced to contend with class sizes of 40+ kids. Community college was an amazing experience for me. Most of the people I encountered were motivated and loved to learn, and met amazing professors there (my cc was known for its math department, so my experience was mostly in that area but it extended to others). And now I’ve been at Uni with one semester left and can’t wait to graduate, I hate the university and its obvious money-grabs (not even to mention the fact that universities seem to shove the wokism down your throat even more) and like you mentioned, all of the cheating unmotivated students. Wouldn’t mind going back to community college and redoing the experience, honestly. Felt like I was in a community of learners there
