The kids don't have any other socialisation. Some have horrible parents, others have good ones, but almost all now are noticeably less happy and have poor social skills. To nobody's surprise, because for like 6 months they got nearly no socialisation that wasn't on a screen or covered with a mask. Kids deprived of socialisation get fucked over, simple as that.
