There are four forces in the physical world; gravity, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and electromagnetism.

Gravity is the weakest of these forces. Yet black holes (and super massive black holes), which are gravitational phenomenon ("gravitational collapse"), are one of the central structuring forces of the universe.
