WITHOUT FAIL, every time when the text required was written by the instructor, I have been blessed with a very based instructor, and every time their book was far far cheaper than whatever 18th edition from pearson was running.

They talk about different topics. Many things in Griffiths don't appear in my teacher's book and many things in my teacher's book don't appear in Griffiths

Fuck off. Griffiths is a shit text, and besides if you really wanted to learn from it you would just read it alongside. It's not like your professor's book is going to be teaching the "alternative version of QM" to prevent you from learning the "true version of QM". It's all the fucking same, especially at the basic introductory level, which is all right here on wikipedia anyway: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_mechanics

Griffiths is a shit tier book for brainlets. It doesn't teach quantum mechanics. You can't do quantum mechanics with only highschool calculus.
