A casual reader would interpret this as Jim Davis underhandedly arguing against the theory of evolution by ways of Hoyle's Fallacy (more commonly known as the "junkyard tornado"). However, a true Garfield connoisseur will recognize that Jon's fallibility resulting in a creation beyond his ability actually makes a mockery of intelligent design. This is further supported by having Garfield subtly resemble William Lane Craig in both rhetoric and mannerisms.

Truly one of his better comics.
