>>14141940It is a useless field if you can't find work. The theoretical use of a field is useless as long as you can't find work.
If you study something where you can only find good work in another country/continent, you better start learning the language and plan on migrating. It's like all the indians/pakis doctors that go to the U.S., they just follow the money and there is nothing wrong with this.
Cmon, it was already known in like 2012 that freshly graduated engineers have a hard time to find a good junior position and it only got worse and worse.
I don't understand people that study something without making a thorough statistical investigation about their degree.
People are just delusional, they think they EE degree is somehow special while there are experiences EEs fighting for the limited amount of good jobs out there.
Big reason why I went to medicine is just how secure it is. The aging population, large amount of retiring boomer docs, more than half of medicine graduates are females that will work half time or just marry a doctor and not work. All of this guarantees you a good job wherever you want, unless you decide to specialize in some retarded declining specialty like Emergency Medicine.
