Why do some Youtube math courses get millions of views and others don't?

The 3 big boys who rake in the millions are Khan Academy, Math Antics, and Professor Leonard.

I look at other courses and there is a significant different in views, why do you think that is? Some are pretty high quality, comprehensive, have a nice teacher, etc.

Whenever I think "Oh they did this special thing," the idea is disproven because I recall another person who not only does that thing but does it better.

I'm thinking there's a list of boxes and they checked most of them whereas others would check 1-3.

This guy probably has highest quality calculus course on the internet, but I think he doesn't get views because no student is going to look up "Calculus Blue," they're going to look up "Calculus 1/2/3." Not dissing him though I respect his work.

I would like to hear your thoughts as to what determines success in this thing that so many people have tried, but only 3 have hit millions
