Let's compare 5 to 10.
5/10=1/2
(10-5)/(10+5)=1/3
they are different things :)

Hey Tooker, are you aware of the concept in topology called one-point compactification? It involves neighborhoods of infinity, which are complements of compact sets. Is that where you got your idea for "the neighborhood of infinity" from?
