The world of competitive professional athletics is effectively a thinly disguised human selective breeding program, its no different than thoroughbred horse racing in that way.
Sports has always tried to be as scientific as possible about setting rules that will determine the best competitor in each category, but clearly the world of sports is currently at a loss when it comes to the issue of transgender athletes.
Does /sci/ have a solution to this problem or is science just as flabbergasted over this issue as the jocks are?
