Which element has the least amount of industrial applications but is still used for some application(s)?

Excluding unstable elements, probably thulium. Only really used as a laser medium or a medical radioisotope.

Thorium. Besides being in reactors which dont exist yet it's completely useless for all industrial processes, and pretty much just exists as waste from mining. Of course once the first thorium reactor gets built and is operational that'll change. Boron is also pretty useless too.

there are some lamps using it as filament.
Krypton doesn't have too many uses, but iirc some spacecraft use it for propulsion.

beryllium is used for high-strength very light alloys mostly with aluminium, also in the nuclear industry.
I think there are also some uses for it in electronics.
Thallium is mostly useless except for some weird glasses and being used as a rat poison historically

krypton, i dunno. seems to hit that sweet spot between being too rare to buy and being "well why not just use xenon".

Pa, protactinium. Pa-233, created from Th-232, at least will decay into U-233, which is fissile, with a half-life of about a month. I don't know of any other uses.
