>>14126379no worries, i'll elabourate. in the uk, on the low-budget channels, you see this weird artifacting where foreground objects appear to float/lag behind background objects if either one is in motion. considering that it's only evident on low-budget channels which look generally poor due to being heavily compressed, i think it's an artifact of mpeg-2 block motion estimation.
