When I played fantasy football, I realized that the number of weeks your team has more total wins than total losses during the season follows the arcsine distribution. Apparently that means that if you win a few consecutive games, you will most likely stay in the green for the rest of the season, even if you later alternate between wins and losses. Same with the losses. Meaning that it is unlikely to have two long streaks in the opposite directions (a few consecutive wins and then a few consecutive losses at some point). Why is that?
