Applying undulatory mechanics to try and explain electronic orbitals was genious. Although his understanding of the quantum phenomenon is not the modern consensus, we can all agree that it was very impressive for him to reproduce spectrum data with math that otherwise would've looked completely alien and unintuitive. I know Debye had some insight, but who the hell would even consider probability density distribution functions as a means to think about something that intuitively should be stationary.

I just hate how he will forever be rememember as the cunny autist guy.
