Meanwhile hydrogen leaks everywhere. When it leaks, it makes the containers brittle. When the brittleness happens, it has a chance to fail and thus causing more leak, leading to an hydrogen combustion accident like the Hindenberg.
There is an alternative. Thats hydrogen fuel cells, which is basically a battery module and the problem with that is it doesn't have a proven record of charge cycle. At best, research says, fuel cells can last 100-200K miles. Thats 1/10th - 1/5th the charge cycle as lithium phosphate.
Inefficiencies from hydrogen is a problem all the way down. From production to storage to utilization.
