There is no correct answer on purpose and telling the child that would defeat the point. Children will feel for free to guess or make up a creative solution without freaking out about the fact that they do not know the correct answer! You are teaching them not to have a panic attack when they don't know the answers and to just do their best anyway. These questions are designed to make sure kids aren't brought up the way you were.
