>The point of questions like these is to make sure kids don't get panic attacks when faced with questions that they don't have exact answers for, or sometimes any answer at all. There is no correct answer on purpose and telling the child that would defeat the point. Children will feel for free to guess or make up a creative solution without freaking out about the fact that they do not know the correct answer! You are teaching them not to have a panic attack when they don't know the answers and to just do their best anyway. These questions are designed to make sure kids aren't brought up the way you were.
