I’ve read that a 10 second long gamma ray burst can output as much energy as the sun will in its 10 billion year lifetime which is insane on its own, but What is the estimated total energy outputted by the by the more than 7 hour long GRB 111209A? I can’t seem to find the estimations I’m looking for on Google.
