Scientifically speaking, when will we run out of humour? Especially with the internet, I noticed that people create new things to laugh at almost exponentially quickly. It all has to end sometime, right?

Depending on how you look at it, we have either already run out of original humor (same recurring structures and motifs that make a funny, only with the elements changed), or we will never run out of original humor (the same motifs and structures will keep recurring forever, while the specifics of human affairs keep changing).

OP has a point. Humor is not unlimited. At first we (at current day society) had funny movies. Then weekly stand up tv shows. Then we moved to the internet. YouTube comedians. Memes are born. They give rise to Vines, then more memes with increased insight and humor and now TikTok, a fast video like vines. What's next? How fast and tightly can humor be accelerated or compressed?
