This seems like a pretty dull idea to me. My personal (and unscientific) opinion is that spacetime is in fact continuous and the universe as a whole is a mental creation/dream in the mind of a being that we cannot describe.
If you are interested in such metaphysical questions, modern science will not help you. Try reading about hermeticism, platonism, Godel's ontological argument and expand from there
Needless to say that I keep all of those opinions private
