I got the virus because of my retarded friend. My throat hurts INCREDIBLY bad. What do you recommend?

I already tried honey, tea, soup, ibuprofen and it still hurts a lot. Its 40C° outside, should I take cold or hot drinks? Will ice cream make it worse? Should I take a cold or a hot shower?

Try gargling a mouthwash (a proper medicinal one, not a makes your breath smell nice one). Worked for me, but I did it very soon after it started hurting.
