I have little to no understanding in phyisics nor math, but i can't get this thought out of my head.

as it is known, time only travel fowards
so, allegedly it's impossible to time travel backwards.
But, what if in order to go backwards in time the thing we need to do is ''stop'' in relation to the motion of time? Wouldn't that push us backwards as time keeps moving fowards? Pardon my ignorance and english btw
