A better question is how far along are prosthetics that can be properly connected to the bone without undesired side effects. Strap-ons are pretty gay desu.

Would it effect penile material if it was just replacing the external part from the pubic end of the shaft to the glans with robotic components? Like just the soft tissue only and not the part connected to the bone.

I mean the soft tissue just before the part that is still connected to the bone. Like how some of the trees in California are grafted with the first 2-3 feet are the root but the upper part is a different tree
