Does sci have any tips on effective note taking for students? Half of my courses (4th year math/cs student) have a big pdf of the notes for the entire course and the profs will make small adjustments as they go through and teach. But having a big file like this seems impractical and hard to study from, but writing notes the whole class also seems impractical when this big file of course notes are available the whole term. What do?
