Interestingly enough we have found genes which both increase the size of your brain and make you LESS intelligent, but we've also found that these genes reduce the probability that you get alzheimers and some other nasty neurodegenerative diseases. So note that the size of your brain not only determines how intelligent you are, but it also determines how susceptible you are to those diseases. Furthermore, certain intelligence measures such as verbal intelligence are known to be far far more positively correlated with brain size than spatial intelligence.
