Why can't the currently running ball make a room for itself in the elevator?

There was a video of a person rotation few 32858325823582358 kgs house on a hanlde alone, a ball should be able to rotate all the balls in the elevator by itself

You still need something to set it off in the first place and to make up for your persistent energy losses. Those collisions on the way down are going to be pulling a lot of energy out of the system.

The resistance of holding the balls in place and pushing each other up to the top is going to be your biggest hurdle. Just spinning the "elevator" won't take much work yes, but turning that spin into lifting all of those balls will sap any efficiency you can design into the system.
