Anon, "science" is more of a method than the body of knowledge itself. Of course you can talk about scientific knowledge, in which case you'd be talking about knowledge arrived at through the scientific method At it's core, it is all about running experiments and seeing where the results lead you. Many of these suggestions seem to be of the "evolutionary" type (e.g. light) and even though one would think they should work (because they do make sense), sometimes they just don't. What I'm trying to say is that, if you are curious about it, just try it out yourself and see what the results are over a sufficiently long period of time. Then try going back to a more "normal" lifestyle, and compare. Write down what you feel or record yourself talking about it if you want to capture as much information as possible. No one here can give you a better answer than experience.
