Now cars look like robots, computers are cheap and the size of my hand, and let's not even start on cell phones.
Getting online used to be a process, but now people get anxious if they *aren't* connected all of the time.
Just as some people today literally believe vaccines are some satanic ritual when, back in 1922, they were glorious scientific achievements, zoomers in 50 years will honestly believe that things like the internet are as you say, a force of nature. Guarantee you there will be some crazy faction that pops up that says they can access their chakras by disconnecting from the internet. (typing that makes me think of dark templars from starcraft)
