If you found a way to program a totally immersive simulation, the only way to retain the immersion would be to program all the "other people" to insist they are real despite ALL being programmed robot AI. Just something to think about.

Granted this one's doesn't work as well as it used to in early 2000, not the internet is way to present in day to day life to immerse yourself in the thought experiment of everyone on here being fake
