Living to over 100yo

Have you read pic related If so what's your opinion?
I finished this book and was wondering how healthy working out and stuffing our faces with high calories diet and meat is.
People on the blue zones around the world live to their 100s by barely eating meat or doing any strenous exercises.
The author believes this is attributed to
>having a diet mostly consisting of vegetables with little fat and sugar
>little stress
>having a social circle with family and friends
>glass of wine a day
>walking moderately (a lot?)
Now...these people were never trying to be healthy, it just happened that their lifestyle was like that, growing and harvesting their own food in the small city/community they were, If the same people lived in the middle of a random american city around groceries and fast food they likely would be fat too.
I'm curious to hear /sci/ opinion on it. Sure, if you are here to have a good time instead of a long time that's a different point but, what's healthier longevity wise speaking?
