I'll give you a head start. 1. Research has shown that people who are the top performers in their fields regularly engage in metacognition—thinking about their thinking. In other words, thinking if your thinking is working out for you and modifying your thinking accordingly. 2. Recall practice. The best way to memorize material (store information in your long term memory) is to look at it once, look away, and try to remember what you just looked at. If you think you can do it without looking at the material any more, go ahead and do recall without looking anymore. Once you begin doing those two those two things, you will have an advantage over 99% of other people.
