Imagine you are on a skateboard rolling down a hallway towards a door. You go through the entrance of the door and exit through the other side, still moving.
Now imagine you're at a standstill on the skateboard and the door is moving towards you, propelled by a contraption of some kind. The door passes over you and you remain at a standstill.
