I'd recommend the 150p heritage if you want something very compact. You can collapse the scope, but its stll 6 inches of aperature. That is plenty for deep sky and some details on planets. If you live in a city faint deep sky objects are difficult, but you can always see the moon and planets even from the most ligh polluted places, so for me a smallish scope is ideal.
