Former semi-pro also. I was profitable for many years while also having a day job as a code monkey. I gave it up in 2015 the landscape became too competitive. What I was making per hour wasn't justifying the time I was investing. I still play recreationally every now and then but I find even the lowest stakes tables are filled with more skilled players than fish.

Poker is "solved" in the sense that there exists a strategy to always break even long term. This is analogous to saying I will break even long term in rock-paper-scissors by always selecting a random choice. Most people are not playing poker using the optimal strategy so you have to understand their tendencies and exploit them.

I wasn't talking in game theoretical terms you absolute and utter fucking moron. You could've googled what a RL agent is before you tried to reply like a smartass.

What I said is that there are now AIs that can reliably beat humans at it, just like with Chess, Go or DotA2

Same. I was a complete fish in 2003 and I won a lot simply by folding preflop. In say 2010 I really had to struggle and play my A game at all times simply to make money after rakeback.
