after all, she isn't concerned with being a scientist, only looking like one, so it follows logically that she is also only concerned with appearances with respect to her degree.
i personally don't agree with her idea that people should be excluded from the science solely because of their nonscientific physical appearance, i think people should participate based strictly on ability and regardless of appearance.
