What would the mathematics behind language entropy look like?

For example in teaching we always provide short-lived or temporary examples for the class to consume or discard. However as the process of education extends residue builds up and can lead people into isolated fields of inspection and extrapolation, which makes it difficult for advanced topics to be accessible to young minds.

Knowing the optimal instruction step and language-faggotry minima for skill uptake would be invaluable.
