after a long conversation with a family member who is a doctor i came to the conclusion that i was going to get the vaccine next week first thing in the morning.
the reason i was not willing to get vaccinated did not belong in any aspect to any conspiracy theory, i argued to him the simple reason that the vaccine does not meet any standard, and development of a vaccine takes between 8-12 years of follow up and testing.
he told me that there is nothing to worry about, since the mRNA component disappears from the body after a few days and long term effects are unlikely.
i told him that it was still difficult for me to trust such claims because it was a fact that they could not predict the current side effects such as myocarditis and blood clots, etc...
he nodded and said "we also do not know about the long term effects of covid"
i was left speechless, i had no justifications left.
he told me that the reason he thinks i refuse is not really based on anything to do with the vaccine.
he knew me well, he said i've been rebellious all my life since kindergarten, and that's what characterizes most people who refuse to get the vaccine.
he said that the politics around it are inevitable, but we must remember that science supports this and that is the only point that should interest us.
i do not think my decision is suicidal, i think i finally managed to overcome my ego, i feel i have won.
conspiracy theories have never been my reason for not getting this vaccine, and whoever distributes them is really miserable and I am finally starting to understand this fact.
do whatever you want, if you are like me and not some hopeless conspiracy moron, think about this.
good day frens
